Salesforce, leading player in AI-based CRM, reported another year of strong growth and continued investment in India. The company’s total reported revenue in India rose 47% year-over-year to ₹13,384.5 crore for the financial year ended 31 March 2025, according to its regulatory filing with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs’ Registrar of Companies.

Salesforce’s expanding role as a trusted digital transformation partner for Indian enterprises across industries is driven by the vision of the Agentic Enterprise, where AI agents and humans collaborate for intelligent, trusted business outcomes.

Accelerating growth and expansion in India

India continues to be one of Salesforce’s fastest-growing markets globally, driven by strong customer demand for trusted, data-driven, and AI-powered solutions. Salesforce now has an employee base of more than 14,000 across Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, and Jaipur.

Additionally, Salesforce's expansion in India is bolstered by a vast ecosystem, encompassing both established strategic partners and emerging start-ups.  Furthermore, India hosts one of the largest and most rapidly expanding Trailblazer communities globally, boasting over 3.9 million members who actively promote innovation, collaboration, and digital transformation throughout the region. Salesforce India’s skilling initiatives in 2025 alone empowered over 75,000 learners across the country, preparing the next generation with essential digital and AI skills.

 Fueling customer success and innovation

In the agentic era, Salesforce empowers businesses by offering a deeply unified platform that seamlessly integrates apps, data, metadata, and agents. Salesforce recently unveiled Agentforce 360, a comprehensive suite of AI tools powered by Agentforce.

“The platform is already enabling thousands of customers to achieve tangible ROI as they transition into Agentic Enterprises. This unique positioning allows Salesforce to lead Indian customers through transformative change becoming Agentic Enterprises,” the company said in a statement.

Salesforce counts leading Indian businesses such as Air India, Tata Play, Tata Consumer Products and Bandhan Bank among its clients. With agents and humans working together, Salesforce said it is creating entirely new capabilities, revenue streams, and ways of working in one trusted system delivering customer success.

Comments on the news, Arundhati Bhattacharya, President & CEO at Salesforce - South Asia, said, “India continues to be a powerhouse of growth and innovation for Salesforce. The trust our customers place in us is clearly reflected in the strong momentum and growth trajectory we have achieved in India over the last few years. We are empowering businesses to adopt the Agentic Enterprise model, using AI not merely for automation, but as a catalyst for genuine innovation that delivers significant value for their customers, employees, and the wider community.”

She further added saying, “The next chapter of AI belongs to those who can blend technology with purpose. India has the talent, ambition, and vision to lead this change. At Salesforce, our mission is to help every customer become an Agentic Enterprise — one that is intelligent, trusted, and ready for the future.”
